The Garden Centre Group Co-Op is a member-owned and operated buying and networking cooperative. The Co-Op works with both domestic and international suppliers including the direct importation of containers.

We are also strong supporters of the Parkinson Society of Canada. The annual Garden Centre Group Co-Op tradeshow hosted every fall acts as a major fundraiser for the Parkinson Society through the sale of booths, Suppliers' and Members' Banquet, and a Silent Auction, and has raised in excess of $300,000 for their cause.

The Garden Centre Group Co-Op Corporation in itself is not a retail operation and does not sell any products, wholesale or retail, outside of its membership. If you are a consumer looking for a member in your area, be sure to visit our members' Links.

Membership

The membership consists of a collection of individual and independent Garden Centres located across Canada, from British Columbia to New Brunswick. Members meet regularly during the season to discuss negotiated supplier programs and network with each other to share ideas and success stories. The negotiated programs allow for more competitive purchasing and import programs as well as the introduction of new product lines to members. In season information and ideas are regularly exchanged via private member-only discussions allowing all members to remain informed of new and upcoming events, products, and industry news.

Suppliers

Suppliers to the Garden Centre Group Co-Op have specific negotiated programs and terms which are presented to the membership at regular intervals during the year. Suppliers enjoy the benefits of central billing, prompt and on-time payments, and exposure to a diverse collection of independent retailers across Canada. The Garden Centre Group Co-Op also hosts an annual tradeshow where select Suppliers are invited to display their goods and take orders. This is unlike a traditional tradeshow because it is a dedicated buying tradeshow.
